Yang Yu

Chief Executive Officer

Yang is the CEO of Micromart, where he oversees business development, enterprise partnerships, and innovation strategy. He is also the co-founder and CEO at KitchenMate, a technology enabled fresh meals service. Previously he was co-founder and CEO of Lookflix, an AI powered shopping app, and CPO of Opencare, a marketplace for finding the best healthcare providers. He is a University of Toronto alum where he studied computer science.

Aditya Bali

Chief Operating Officer

The COO at Micromart, Aditya has his eye on the details. He is also the co-founder and COO at KitchenMate, a technology enabled fresh meals service. Aditya is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, engineer and foodie.  Previously he built robots at Google X, co-founded BufferBox (acquired by Google), is a YC alum and graduated from the University of Waterloo's Mechatronics Engineering program.

Arwid Bancevicius

As CTO, Arwid has a passion for creating products that people love. He is also co-founder and CTO at KitchenMate, a technology enabled fresh meals service. Before Micromart, Arwid launched products at Amazon Seattle in Local Commerce and Consumables. As a graduate from University of Toronto's Computer Engineering program, he has also led development at startups across Canada and US, and is a MassChallenge Alum.

Omar Sati

Omar is an experienced venture capital investor and startup advisor with a strong track record of successful investments in of the world's most cutting-edge startups. He is currently the Managing Partner of DASH Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investments in the MENAPT region and North America (US & Canada).

Mark Smith

BDC

Mark Smith is a partner at BDC, specializing in venture capital investments. With over a decade of experience consulting, operating, and early-stage investing experience across multiple technology sectors, he has a proven track record of identifying and nurturing high-potential startups. Mark holds an MBA from Oxford University, M. Eng from the University of Waterloo, and a B. Eng from Ryerson University.

Bill Schultz

PACE Strategies

Bill started his career at Procter & Gamble in marketing, then in the food business at Mars, Incorporated. He was the president of the Dixie and International Consumer Products divisions at Georgia-Pacific, and then spent 12 years at Coca-Cola, running company-owned bottlers in India, the Philippines, Latin America, and most recently as the president of Coca-Cola Refreshments, Canada. Bill serves on the board of Freshii, Inc. and is a non-executive director of Black Sheep Coffee.
